Skelia has officially opened its Service Centre in Lviv, capital of Western-Ukraine, in the presence of Marc Vinck, Ambassador of Belgium in Ukraine, Yaroslav Hartsula, Honorary Consul of Belgium and Oleg Synyutka, first Vice-Mayer of the Lviv City Council.

A delegation of Belgian enterpreneurs and government representatives has attended this official ceremony.

Skelia has established its primary Service Centre in Lviv, capital of Western Ukraine, due to its unique combination of high education level, top-class universities, multi-cultural spirit, different languages spoken, time zone proximity (1 hour difference with Benelux countries), appealing culture and openness of the people.

“We expect to be around 40 employees in Lviv by the end of 2009. Our ambitions are to grow to more than 300 employees by 2012, and plan that most of those professionals will be employed in the Lviv area.” says Patrik Vandewalle, CEO of Skelia.
